The most intensive period of human development in terms of the scope,speed and quality is the pre-school period including 0-6 age.In this period,extremely important features which determine the future are gained in terms of physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development. In this period,one of the skills child has gained is the maths skill known as the early academic skill. Maths skills dependig on abstract thought are one of the most necessary skill areas to lead a life. Child's social relationships,the stimulant materials in their environment, child's qualified interaction with these materials and having education of good quality are effective on maths skills and provide them to be more successful in advanced maths.It's essential that maths skills are gained by children from the beginning of pre-school period because of the lack of enough time of the families despite the importance of early childhood education, mostly not being aware of this importance and unable to accommodate fully child's innate curiosity. However, this is possible with school in which there are a programme that carries out the willingness to learn of child's existing nature ; materials which check the mistakes, have realistic features and include creativity ; equipment consisting of beatiful,elegant and attractive colours ; teachers who are aware of how to observe a child; a domestic education.
1.Target group of the Project is the teachers and the students between 4-6 years.
2. Our working methodology aims at creating developing practical activities real situations for theoretical knowledge given in kindergarten curricula.We aim to connect both types of knowledge and provide holistic learning . Since this a kindegarden level project,there will be basic level of activities . Kids are our major target groups and that is why clubs activities will be transformed into plays to make their more enjoyable and memorable.
